Young talents from Europe and Southeast Asia exchange ideas on innovation, business and society
In summer 2026, the Global Young Leaders Union brought together young students and emerging talents from Southeast Asia and Europe for the Global Innovation Leadership Summer Study Camp. The programme took participants to Graz and Vienna and combined academic exchange with insights into business, technology and culture.
The programme focused on current developments and future-oriented topics that are shaping the lives of young people around the world. Lectures, discussions and joint activities gave participants the opportunity to explore different perspectives and share their own experiences.
Beyond the academic programme, personal exchange was an important part of the camp. Participants from different countries and fields of study had the opportunity to get to know one another, discuss shared challenges and build new connections that can continue beyond the camp.
Another focus was the question of what role young generations can play in shaping future developments. The discussions showed how differently global issues can be viewed from different cultural and regional perspectives – and how much can be gained from learning from one another.
The camp concluded with a formal closing ceremony, where participants were recognised for their active participation and commitment throughout the programme.
With the Global Innovation Leadership Summer Study Camp, the Global Young Leaders Union provides a space for international exchange, personal encounters and shared perspectives on the future.
